Football Players who Played for Texans and Broncos

There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players who have played for both the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Texans and Broncos.

Brock Osweiler

Brock Osweiler was selected in the second round, 57th overall, by the Denver Broncos in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Osweiler spent time as a backup to Peyton Manning in Denver, and he notably started seven games in the 2015 season when Manning was injured. He played a key role in helping the Broncos secure the top seed in the AFC that year, and the team went on to win Super Bowl 50.

After the Super Bowl win, Osweiler signed a lucrative free-agent deal with the Houston Texans but struggled to live up to expectations. He was traded to the Cleveland Browns, then returned to the Broncos, and finished his career with the Miami Dolphins in 2018.

Case Keenum

Case Keenum is perhaps best known as a Minnesota Viking where he led them to the NFC Championship game during the 2017 season. That season he threw for 3547 yards and 22 touchdowns, leading to an 11-3 record as a starter and a memorable playoff run, including the “Minneapolis Miracle” touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs.

Keenum began his career as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans in 2012. Despite his undrafted status, Keenum has managed to carve out a substantial career, including significant starting roles for the Rams, Vikings, Broncos, and Washington Football Team.

Over his career thus far, he’s passed for over 14,800 yards and 78 touchdowns.

Ryan Driskell

Jeff Driskel was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He is a quarterback who has served primarily as a backup during his NFL career. Driskel has played for multiple teams, including the Bengals, Lions, Broncos and Texans.

He has occasionally started games due to injuries to first-string quarterbacks and has showcased his athleticism and arm strength in those opportunities.

While his statistics may not be standout, Driskel’s ability to step into the role when needed makes him a valuable asset as a backup quarterback in the NFL.
