Brendan Shanahan
Brendan Shanahan was drafted second overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. Over his career, he also played for the Blues, Hartford Whalers, Red Wings, and Rangers. Shanahan is the only player in NHL history to have scored over 600 goals and accumulated over 2,000 penalty minutes.
Shanahan’s move to the St. Louis Blues in 1991 marked a significant period in his career. His performance peaked during the 1992–93 and 1993–94 seasons, scoring over 50 goals in each. He was a part of the Red Wings during their Stanley Cup victories in 1997, 1998, and 2002, and was named one of the ‘100 Greatest NHL Players’ in 2017.
Internationally, Shanahan represented Canada and won a gold medal at the 1994 World Championships, 2002 Winter Olympics, and the 1991 Canada Cup. Shanahan’s legacy in the sport was cemented with his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 8, 2013.

Dougie Hamilton
Dougie Hamilton began his NHL journey when he was drafted 9th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He played for the Bruins for several seasons, making an immediate impact and showcasing his potential as a top-pairing defenseman.
After his stint in Boston, Hamilton was traded to the Calgary Flames. He continued to develop his game, consistently being among the team’s top defensemen in terms of points. In 2018, Hamilton was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes, where he further solidified his reputation as a high-end, puck-moving defenseman.
Hamilton spent the last two seasons with the New Jersey Devils with personal bests in goals (22) and assists (52) in the 2022-23 season.

Sean Burke
Sean Burke had a long and distinguished career as a goaltender in the NHL. Burke was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft.
He made his NHL debut during the 1987-1988 season with the Devils. Over the course of his career, he played for several NHL teams, including the New Jersey Devils, Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Florida Panthers, Phoenix Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Los Angeles Kings.
One of the highlights of Burke’s career was his role as the starting goaltender for Team Canada in various international competitions, including the Winter Olympics and the World Cup of Hockey. He was known for his strong play in high-pressure situations and represented Canada with distinction.

Erik Haula
Erik Haula is a Finnish forward currently playing for the New Jersey Devils in the NHL. He was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the seventh round, 182nd overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Before joining the NHL, Haula played at the University of Minnesota, where he had an impressive college hockey career.
Haula signed an entry-level contract with the Wild in 2013 and made his NHL debut in the 2013-14 season, where he also scored his first NHL goal. He played for the Wild until 2017 when he was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL Expansion Draft. Haula had a career-high 29 goals for 55 points in the 2017-18 season with the Golden Knights.
Haula has also played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators, and Boston Bruins. In July 2022, Haula was traded to the New Jersey Devils, where he later signed a three-year extension.
