There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Steelers and the Raiders.

Rod Woodson

Rod Woodson had a storied 17-year career in the NFL. A highly versatile and skilled defensive back, Woodson was drafted 10th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1987 NFL Draft and spent the first 10 years of his career there, primarily as a cornerback.

He made a seamless transition to the safety position later in his career, playing for the Ravens and Raiders. Woodson earned 11 Pro Bowl selections, was a six-time first-team All-Pro, and was named to the NFL 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time Teams.

A key contributor to the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl XXXV-winning season, Woodson amassed 71 interceptions (third-most all-time) and holds the NFL record for most interceptions returned for touchdowns (12). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.

Martavis Bryant

Martavis Bryant, a wide receiver in the NFL, showcased promising talent with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2014 to 2017. Notable for his height and speed, he accumulated 126 receptions for 1917 yards and 17 touchdowns during his time with the Steelers.

His best season came in 2015 when he recorded 765 yards and 6 touchdowns in 11 games. However, his career was marked by multiple suspensions due to violating the league’s substance abuse policy, which kept him off the field for the entire 2016 season.

In 2018, he was traded to the Oakland Raiders, where he struggled to replicate his earlier success, recording just 19 receptions for 266 yards and no touchdowns.

Bruce Gradkowski

Bruce Gradkowski, a quarterback with a journeyman career in the NFL, played from 2006 to 2012.

Initially drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 6th round of the 2006 NFL Draft, Gradkowski also had stints with the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 37 games over his career, Gradkowski threw for 4,057 yards with a completion percentage of 52.9%. He recorded 21 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.

Darrius Heyward-Bey

Darrius Heyward-Bey is a former wide receiver known for his exceptional speed and athleticism. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Heyward-Bey spent four seasons with the Raiders but never quite lived up to the high expectations that came with his draft position. After leaving the Raiders, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts for a single season in 2013, where he was mostly used as a depth option.

In 2014, he joined the Pittsburgh Steelers and managed to rejuvenate his career to some extent. Though not a primary target, he became a valuable special teams player and occasionally contributed as a wide receiver.
